"we interupt this marriage to bring you football season"

Fall is here, and you know what that means....WAR EAGLE! It is no longer about that time, because that time has now come! Time to spend with friends and family tailgating, stuffing our faces, letting the chills come as the eagle circles the Shug Jordan stadium and last but not least...remembering how great it was and still is to call Auburn...HOME!

This weekend Brian and I went down to Auburn to stay with his parents in their RV. We had a blast, and I can't describe to you how awesome it felt to be back on the loveliest village in the plains! Auburn truly is God's country. At one point during Tiger Walk Brian made the statement as we watched the endless amount of college students passing by (talk about feeling older ;). He said "Man, we just didn't know how good we had it when we were down here..did we?" Truth is....I knew it then and I still know it now. Although our time was short there this weekend, it felt good to be home!
Watching the Eagle take flight is something that other non-Auburn fans admittedly are (and should be) jealous of

We sat with Beau and Whitney Mosley. Beau and Brian were summoned to play a game of corn hole with Aubie during the game. All in all we had a AUsome weekend, and Auburn winning against La Tech was the icing on the cake! Now that we have made it back to Birmingham, it is time to rest and get ready for church tonight @ Highlands and Labor Day tomorrow!
